Legaci Leather began with a shift to a more natural lifestyle after COVID, which led us from whole foods to natural fibres and eventually back to our love for leather. When we could not find a genuine leather mousepad, a birthday gift in the form of a leather crafting course set everything in motion.
What started as a simple project has grown into a passionate team focused on creating timeless, durable leather goods with exceptional craftsmanship. We are building a community of fellow “Leather Lovers” who value quality that lasts. We welcome feedback, stay open to learning, and believe every piece starts a story worth passing on. What Makes It Different
The Beauty of Leather
Genuine leather is strong, durable and can last a lifetime when properly cared for. Think bags, boots and jackets that are passed down through generations, worn with pride and only looking better with age.
Why Full-Grain?
We use full-grain cow leather — the highest quality and most durable type. It resists moisture, develops a rich patina over time and is tanned using a traditional vegetable tanning process that’s both natural and sustainable.
What About Pleather?
Pleather, often made from PVC, is a synthetic alternative that can be harmful to the environment. It might look similar, but it lacks the durability, longevity and character of real leather.

If you’re new to leather, don’t stress — so were we. For the average shopper, leather, pleather and polyester can seem the same. But once you feel, wear and live with real leather, you’ll become a leather lover too.

We also offer full-grain leather in a range of colours, with chrome tanned options using chromium salts for a vibrant finish. Every item is hand-stitched and individually crafted — never mass produced — to give you quality and luxury that lasts.

Legaci Leather Lessons
If you’ve always loved leather and want to turn it into a hobby or business, our tailored lessons are the perfect start. Choose one-on-one or small group sessions (max four learners) and learn at your own pace.
You’ll master the basics by creating a simple, practical wallet while exploring leather types, tools, and techniques like cutting, punching, riveting, and hand stitching. By the end, you’ll have the skills and confidence to craft your own leather pieces.
